Grade 6 Farewell, 2014

Our little Joshua officially completed grade 6 today.

 Him and his boyz.

Joshua and his bestie, from this year anyway.

The group of kids who Joshua started school with back in Nursery
(the two on either end only started in Kindergarten, but close enough).
The grade 6 class had only 14 students!! 2 less than Caleb's class last year.

Happy parents.

More Summer 2013

 Picnics...
 face painting...

I was in charge of catering a lia sophia event and the boys helped.

 Joshua got his cast off!

The boys made some spending money selling pop outside Mike's shop.

I took Caleb out for a meal to celebrate his completion of grade 6.

Joshua Gretzky...finally got his hair cut after this picture.

 Wyatt started drinking coffee.

We all had a great time meeting up with friends.
It was chilly and rainy the first day, but it cleared overnight,
and although Joshua woke us up at 5:00 am, we managed to survive the day.
The family who hosted us, fed us very well and introduced us to pie irons!!

 An amazing breakfast spread!

 Showing Carrot some love.

The three oldest boys got to ride Carrot.

 Saying "hi" to Shelley's horses.

Natalee shared her ice cream with Tucker. :)

Grandma B. gave us money to buy blizzards on Miracle Day at DQ.

 Our humongous tent!

My "twins" walking shoulder to shoulder.

Summer 2013

Some pictures from over the summer.
Canada Day was HOT and we had hardly any energy to play at the park.

These two (Caleb and Andrew) are starting to look more and more alike. When Andrew is wearing clothes that his older brother wore just a year or two ago, I often think he IS Caleb.

 Natalee on the swing.

The Freak Show at Happyland Park.

This small one may be going through a growth spurt or something with all the eating and
sleeping he's done this summer.

This one is fine the size he is already. :)

Mike asked me for a picture for his shop...this is one of them.

Fresh strawberries = strawberry shortcake!! So delicious!!
The kids and I spent a couple of days at the lake.

 The boys are getting bigger...

 The girl.

We did a photo scavenger hunt and we had to take a picture of someone in the swing.
The boys loved this picture of Tucker in a swing.

Wyatt did great in the lake even though it was chilly every day we were there.

 The Sand Princess.

Their new auntie's Dad gave all the kids a ride on his Sea Doo!!!
They loved it!!

Wyatt spotted this baby bunny while the boys were hunting for frogs.
We left it in the wild. We left it nearby an adult rabbit we saw hopping around the park.

Natalee with her hole-y smile.

Joshua's Birthday

Happy 11th Birthday, Joshua!
We came home early from a few days spent at the lake so we could have a party with Mike.
The cake was a chocolate covered coffee bean ice cream cake.
Very, very good!!

The last of May 2013

Mike and I celebrated our 15th anniversary on May 23rd.
Caleb made us breakfast. I got a yogurt and fruit parfait. Mike got an omelette.

Natalee loves summer.
She loves to bike and she loves to swim.

Andrew's Birthday, May 15, 2013

 Opening gifts.
Andrew is 8 years old!! By the time Caleb was 8, we already had Wyatt.
Andrew's doing really well in grade 2 and although school is not his favourite thing
(the work, that is; he loves the activities, his teachers, and art),
he is doing much better this year than last year.
He's at grade level with reading even though he started the year struggling at
a beginning grade 1 level. He has worked hard!!

A Wednesday in May wouldn't be complete without a soccer game!

And finally, birthday trifle with lemon pudding and berries.
It was very very good, even for a chocolate lover like myself.

Mother's Day, 2013

Pictures, followed by a walk outside...

 Mother's Day cards...

From Andrew -  best. card. so far.

 Art from Caleb.

Beaded newspaper necklace from Joshua.
