Caleb's Bowling Party

For Caleb's Birthday Party with his friends, we went bowling. Here are some pictures of the 3 boys bowling. Andrew bowled for the first time.
After bowling, we ate some pizza...

And had some cake!

Wyatt

Check out those cheeks! Wyatt is definitely following in his brothers' footsteps. We were in to visit the Doctor this morning and he is now 13 lbs. 4 oz. He gained a full pound in the last 2 weeks! However, he is still not sleeping well at night (a good night is being up twice to eat, and a bad night is being nursed to sleep over and over and over again because Mom's too tired to get out of bed and get him to sleep any other way).

March is Birthday Month!

In random order, here are a few pictures from the last few weeks. A couple of weeks ago, Natalee helped put the cans into the pantry. Can you see the tall pile of canned goods? Wyatt, ready to hit the road!

Caleb and Natalee on Saturday evening.

Natalee posing in an outfit she got for her birthday.

Natalee opening her present Saturday morning.

One of Joshua's Lego creations. This is 2 horses pulling a jail trailer, for lack of a better term. He came up with this all on his own!

Wyatt in his bathtub. I wouldn't say he's enjoying his baths yet, but they are definitely quieter than they used to be!

Natalee - classic over-dressing.

I made chocolate icing for Caleb's birthday cake today. Here are Natalee and Andrew enjoying some chocolate...

I am so proud that my children like chocolate almost as much as I do!

Keeping Busy with Baby's & Toddlers

And we thought we were busy with four children!!!!

Natalee is in the undressing and over-dressing phase of her life. Which, I'm told, doesn't really end with girls...at least, the clothes obsession part of it.
This morning, Wyatt was lying on the couch and crying (nothing new there). Andrew went to go lie beside him and Wyatt stopped crying. :)

Wyatt, down for a nap. He's holding his soother in. He has a very demanding suck instinct. I brought him in to get weighed today. He is 10 lbs. 8 oz. (Natalee was 10 lbs. 10 oz. at 3 months of age.)
We were given a used Super Nintendo some time ago and finally got around to buying some games for them. Caleb especially enjoys it.

I try to "wear" Wyatt at least once during the day in the hopes that he will cry less. He is learning to fall asleep in the Baby Wrap.

The boys were getting dressed to go to school and Andrew decided to put on Mike's clothes.

And here's some of Natalee's classic over-dressing.

The Boys

Quite often, we find Caleb and Joshua together in the bottom bunk when we go in to check on them before we go to bed. This was last night...
On this sunny, cold afternoon, I took some pictures of Wyatt and Andrew. Wyatt was awake for a change after I fed him and he was pretty content, so I figured it was finally time to get a few good pictures of him.

Wyatt with his "measuring stick"...and this is what he looked like just over six weeks ago...He's gained nearly two pounds since then! And a picture of his soft, fluffy hair:

Andrew <3's Wyatt

Andrew is a Momma's boy. I never thought he would be so excited to have another baby in the house. But he is quite taken with baby Wyatt. He's always asking "How is Wyatt doing?" and giving Wyatt hugs and kisses.
Most mornings and afternoons, it's just the youngest three children at home. It's pretty quiet, actually! Natalee is not as into Wyatt as Andrew, but she does help out with him. Her job is taking the dirty/wet diapers to the garbage. Actually, if anything needs to go into the garbage, Natalee can be counted on to get it there. And even things that DON'T need to go into the garbage end up there too!

My Children

My five children in their pajama's. I couldn't decide which picture was better.

A Little Bit of Christmas

If the Bergmann kids were to recreate the first Christmas, here's what it might look like:

Home at Last!

I took this picture the other day on a rare moment when Wyatt had his eyes open and he wasn't yelling to be fed.
The phone we used to call into the NICU to get permission to enter. I won't miss it!
The locked doors to the jail - I mean, NICU.

The sink where I washed my hands many, many, many times. Every time I came into the NICU, I had to undergo a very thorough one-minute hand washing ordeal.
Wyatt one last time in his bassinette. Above, the computer I watched anxiously for the last nearly three weeks as it monitored his resps, heart rate, and oxygen saturation levels.
Getting ready to go home this morning. We were told we would be able to go when we came in at 10:30 am. We got there...and another test had been scheduled for 11:15. This did not surprise me, but we finally got to go at 1:00 pm when Mike was available to pick us up.
Andrew and Natalee were so excited to finally see Wyatt! Natalee can hardly keep her hands off of him. Andrew is happy that Wyatt is home, and probably most happy that I no longer have to come and go all day. As am I!
