And Caleb is 11

Caleb got a street hockey stick for his birthday.
Hockey was the game of choice for the last 4 months.

Another view of the very delicious jello cake.

Natalee is 5!

A pink basket for her bike!

 Toenails painted orange...Wyatt's too.

 Decorating cupcakes as flowers.

 Yumm!  Happy Birthday, Natalee!

Another cake. Made out of jello.

Party with friends!

It always surprises me when a silent 3 year old ISN'T getting into trouble!
Checking out a Lego Ideas book.

"CHEEEESE!"

Potty seat on my head.
Diaper on my bum.
Sister's pink shoes on my feet.
Ready to go.

Valentine's Day

I do not like learning new things.  Not computer things, anyway.  I still need to find an easier way to transfer pictures from the camera to the computer, and upload them to my blog...

Above, our valentine's day cookie pizza.  So good!
Valentine's Day Chex Mix for the kids.  Also very good!

We played some Valentine's Day games after supper.
We had a competition to see who could stack the most conversation hearts.
The kids loved it!

Days 10 & 11

January 10, 2012 was a perfect day for making a snowman.
The weather was incredibly mild (hi of +6 C) and the snow was sticky.
Snowman sculpture by Joshua.
(Child in the window - Natalee).

And the day after that, winter returns!

Day 7, 8 and 9

 Our 10-year-old Chef.
Too bad it's back to school today.
He's been making lunch for the majority of our family this week.
Nothing fancy, but always delicious!

 Hockey hockey hockey...

I really don't mind doing laundry at all.
In fact, it's one of those jobs where you can do a whole lot of nothing while
the washing machine and dryer does all the work.

I even like folding clean laundry.
Except fitted sheets.  I can never get those just right.

What I don't like about washing the boys' bedding is all the stuffies in their beds!!

ETA: 43.  Joshua has 43 stuffies in his bed.
And one sitting here on the computer waiting to be repaired.

Day 5 & Day 6 of Project 366

So it's actually Project 366.  February has 29 days this year.

Day 5 - Yesterday, the older 2 boys played Monopoly downstairs with Mike.
Andrew, Natalee, Wyatt and I played Monopoly Jr. upstairs.
After supper, we pulled out Apples to Apples Jr.
(new game the kids got for Christmas) and we had a lot of fun with that game.

Day 6 - SNOW!!!!
It's about time winter showed up!
Even though the weather is still very mild,
it feels a little more like winter now that the ground is white again.
It feels like ages since we've had a good ole blizzard.  I'm ready for one.

Day 3 & Day 4

January 3rd - Joshua had 4 waffles for breakfast.

I was so impressed that he cut them up by himself so nicely.
Usually, he uses "tiger cutting."
His term.
Use your imagination.

January 4th - Today is one of the days that we do flyers.
Caleb and Joshua spent two hours getting them ready.
(It does not take me two hours to get them ready).

Day 2 (January 2, 2012)

Caleb teaching Joshua piano.
There is so much I could write about this...

Day 1 of Project 365

I'll post more information later on Project 365, if there is any information that may be interesting, but I've committed myself to taking a picture every day this year.  Some may have stories, some may not.  I may post them every day or I may end up posting a weeks' worth of pictures at once.  We'll see how this goes.

I got a new camera.  :)  I need to figure out the fastest way to upload them onto Blogger...

We had a family gathering today.  I was asked to bring a salad, and as I was tearing up the lettuce leaves, I remembered that I needed to bring two other things.  Mike had Andrew make a list since my memory is pathetic...and he was still working on printing out this list by the time I was done tearing up lettuce.  By the way, I did not forget the things I was worried about leaving behind.

I'm going to go find that list and take a picture of it...

Happy New Year!

Cookie Decorating

Yesterday, Joshua, Caleb, Wyatt and I iced and decorated the gingerbread boys.
I was surprised by how well Wyatt did.
He had a lot of fun with the red and green M&M's.

Abvoe, some of the cookies Wyatt decorated.

Boys...

 Andrew has re-named himself.  "Zoo"

 "Caleb"

Caleb & Joshua made this very cool Santa and sleigh from Lego.
Unfortunately, the youngest boy destroyed it.

 Yay, a new Santa!

Wyatt & Birthday Cakes

My baby is now 3 years old!
And so, he got to enjoy birthday cake 3 times this past week!!
Birthday cake #1 above was supposed to be a hedgehog...but that failed,
so it ended up being a trifle.  Still yummy, but not so esthetically pleasing.
Wyatt didn't care.  It was still delicious.
(He looks hesitant because he was just waiting for the o.k. to blow out the candles.)

Blowing out candles in his birthday pudding/cake (#2).
Wyatt totally had the whole birthday cake/singing/blowing out
candles routine down pat this year.

All right, now THIS is a cake!!!

 Worth the wait! (Cake #3)

Wyatt's 3rd birthday was brought to you by...Sesame Street.
The other children have liked Sesame Street, but Wyatt is by far the
most devoted SS fan in the family.

Remembrance Day

Natalee outside enjoying the first real snow of the season!

On Remembrance Day, the children and I went up to Bird's Hill Park.
The boys were thrilled that they were able to feed the birds from their hands!

 Waiting...

I tried several times to capture Andrew with a bird eating from his hand, but this was the closest I got.

Veggie Art & Wyatt Ruins Christmas
